Calculators
Algebraic Linear Equations Kit
v
Accelerated
Math
Acc Math is a computer software tool for managing and monitoring students’ mathematics learning. Accelerated Math provides daily math work for students, scores their work when students bubble in and scan cards, and reports the results immediately.
This program allows students time on task which will improve their skills. Math practice is critical to success.
Skills are reviewed throughout the year and students work at their individual pace. A student is not allowed to go on to the next skill until previous skills are mastered.
The teacher’s role is to instruct, motivate, monitor, and intervene.
It is crucial that a student corrects mistakes (with teacher if necessary) on a scored Practice before completing next Practice.
Students can qualify for several Math Clubs such as Math Stars, All Stars, Shining Stars, Silver Stars, and Gold Stars. They qualify by the number of points earned.
