A Little Bit about Mrs. Karen Gana
Mrs. Gana loves to scrapbook, read, play card and board games and bicycle during her leisure time. She has a husband and 2 grown step-daughters. One step-daughter, Jessica, lives and works in Pittsburgh as a pediatric nurse in oncology. The other step-daughter, Kim, is living and working in Manhattan , N.Y.C. She is an editor for a publishing company. Mrs. Gana also has two growing nephews, who live in western Pennsylvania with her sister and her brother-in-law . Both Mrs. Gana’s Mom and Mr. Gana’s parents still live in Pennsylvania an hour outside of Philadelphia .
Mr. and Mrs. Gana would love to travel more to Europe and Australia . But always enjoy coming home to spend time with our family and friends.
Mrs. Gana taught Kindergarten for six years at private Christian schools in Pennsylvania before coming to North Carolina . 2006-2007 is her first year teaching first grade and she has found a lot of similarities to Kindergarten. She really enjoys seeing the beginning “reading experience” as the children grow throughout the year.
Mrs. Gana’s goals
for this year are to help each child learn to the greatest of his or her
ability and to be reflective thinkers to solve their
own problems.
