Wendell Fire Department Safety Clowns

December 2, 2005, we had the Wendell Safety clowns come for a visit. They taught our students
about who to call when there is trouble and what to do when a fire happens at home. They taught
our students the "stop, drop, and roll" technique and also showed them how to exit their house if the
smoke detector goes off. Students were also reminded to practice their exit routes each month to
be ready for any fire that may occur at home.
