GT Magnet is located 16 miles East of Raleigh on Business 64. Wendell
GT Magnet is an
open community school with high expectations fora diverse student population.
We feel that our strong parent involvement brings quality to our instructional
program and progress for our children.Wendell GT Magnet Elementary is an inviting
school with a safe, positive school climate. The continual school motto is: "We
care about you and your child." We have been successful in helping children
with exceptional needs, in general academic growth, and in our passion for
educational excellence. There is a generous

of flexibility and professionalism throughout our staff, and we operate as
a team and school family. Wendell G.T.Magnet is a 2001-2002 North Carolina
School of Excellence, 2002-2003, 2003-2004, and 2004-2005 North Carolina School
